What are most women concerned about with regards to their bodies after pregnancy? Flabby stomachs,some loss of bladder control, bad posture and sore backs. Post-natal Pilates targets all these issues and more. This fun and effective workout encorporates your 2- 6 month old baby into the routine. Sarah Picot designed this workout from her own experience post-partum. It is a great way to bond with your baby while flattening your stomach, stretching your body and strengthening your arms and back.
There are modifications for the mom who has had a cesarean and may still feel tendar as well as versions for the mom who may be stronger and ready for a challenge. Sarah shows you ways to hold your baby when they are a bit older and for younger babies who aren't ready to sit up.
Your baby will love being close to you while they listen to your heart beat while you strengthen your core, go for a ride while you tone your legs and buttocks, work on tracking (a developmental milestone) while you flatten your stomach, or play peek a boo with you while you stretch your back and legs.
